Younger generations are more attracted to something enjoyable - worldly entertainment. It is rare nowadays the children are attracted to spiritual matters.

Meaning of Ceremonies in Holy Mass

Many of us go to church receive the Holy Eucharist or go to Sunday service receive the bread and wine but do not understand to honor the Lord but do not understand what this Gift means.

The Eucharist is indeed the Body and Blood of Jesus. When we receive them it is not just to honor Him but to consume His Body fully. "Remember on the night before He was betrayed and enter willingly into His Passion" [word of priest in Mass], He gave Himself completely to us Mind, Body and Soul. Such is His Gift that without the Eucharist we cannot survive.
